How do I play WarpWord?
WarpWord is a word transformation puzzle. You start with a word and must transform it into a target word by making one change at a time. Each move must result in a valid English word. Your goal is to reach the target word in as few steps as possible, ideally at or under par.
What are the different move types?
There are five move types in WarpWord:
- Change — Replace one letter with a different letter (e.g., CAT to COT)
- Add — Insert a new letter at any position (e.g., CAT to CART)
- Remove — Delete one letter from the word (e.g., CART to CAR)
- Swap — Exchange the positions of two letters (e.g., POT to TOP)
- Move — Move one letter to a different position (e.g., ATE to EAT)
How does the daily challenge work?
A new puzzle is available every day at midnight. Complete daily puzzles on consecutive days to build a streak. Milestones are celebrated at Day 3, Day 7, Day 14, Day 30, and Day 365. Everyone gets the same puzzle each day, so you can compare results with friends.
How do I restore my purchases?
Open WarpWord and go to Settings (gear icon). Tap "Restore Purchases" to recover any previously purchased items. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
The app is crashing, what should I do?
Try these steps:
- Make sure you have the latest version of WarpWord from the App Store.
- Restart the app by swiping it away and reopening.
- Restart your device.
- If the problem persists, email us at support@warpword.app with details about what you were doing when the crash occurred.
